Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
1. Who we are
This website (folelse.co.uk) is operated by Folelse Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17132576) ("Folelse", "we", "us"). Folelse Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.
Registered office: [registered office address]. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration reference [ICO registration reference]. For any privacy questions, contact privacy@folelse.co.uk.
2. Scope
This policy covers the public folelse.co.uk website only. Our products (such as Folelse Governance) have their own privacy and data-processing terms, provided separately when you sign up for or use those services.
3. Information we collect
- Information you give us — for example, your name, email address and message if you contact us by email.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through server and security logs when you use the site.
- Cookies — strictly-necessary cookies only (see our Cookie Policy). We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How we use your data and our legal bases
Under the UK GDPR, we process personal data on these legal bases:
- Legitimate interests — to operate, maintain and secure the website, and to respond to enquiries you send us.
- Consent — where you choose to contact us or otherwise provide information voluntarily.
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with trusted processors necessary to run the site, under data processing agreements:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery (CDN), DNS and security/DDoS protection (processes connection metadata such as IP addresses).
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365) — email, if you contact us by email.
We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, or legal process.
6. International transfers
We aim to keep personal data within the UK and EEA. Where a processor operates outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs), the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Enquiry emails are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards; technical/security logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics.
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@folelse.co.uk.
You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you are unhappy with how we handle your data: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF — ico.org.uk / 0303 123 1113.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
